Piotr Romanowski, PhD - Chairman

ImageDr Piotr Romanowski has graduated with PhD in genetic engineering from Gdańsk University, and PhD in molecular biology from CambridgeUniversity, specializing in cancer biology. Dr. Romanowski has 10 years of in consulting in the areas of management and banking. Previously Dr.Romanowski worked as a Partner at McKinsey & Company, specializing in strategy, restructuring and capital transactions, he supported the two largest mergers in the oil industry in Central Europe, as well as clients from the pharmaceutical and health industry. Dr. Romanowski was also an Executive Director of Corporate and International Banking at Bank Pekao SA and a Board Member at Millennium SA responsible for Corporate Banking. Currently, Dr.Romanowski is a partner at an investment advisory firm Metropolitan Capital Solutions, and investor in the KCR SA.

Tadeusz Wesołowski, PhD - Vice Chairman of the Board


ImageMr Wesolowski has graduated with PhD in technical sciences from Warsaw University of Technology. After receiving his diploma he worked at university to obtain the position of a lecturer. In 1990 he founded and managed PROSPER, company which for more than 17 years has been one of the leading pharmaceutical distributors in Poland. The company started its operations from importing parapharmaceuticals and OTC drugs from Western Europe, gradually expanding the range and scope of activities to the distribution of pharmaceuticals. Mr Wesolowski consistently advised and participated in the creation of new ventures in the pharmaceutical market.

 

Rafał Chwast - Board Member

ImageRafał Chwast is a graduate of Cracow University of Economics (Accounting) and the AGH Technical University in Krakow (Computer Science). In years 1997-2007 he served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Comarch. He was responsible for financial supervision of group?s subsidaries, raising capital through the stock exchange for companies Comarch and Interia.pl, and the acquisition of the company CDN, now one of the key departments of Comarch (sector of software for small and medium enterprises). In years 2003-2006 he served as CEO of the Association of Stock Exchange Issuers (the organization representing the environment of the stock exchange listed companies), and was also a member of the Capital Market Council (the expert group operating as consultants for the Prime Minister). Currently, he is also a member of the Board and Chief Financial Officer at the New Style group, a furniture producer and a member of the supervisory board of a stock exchange listed company NG2.
 
 

Adam Przewiezlikowski - Board Member

ImageAdam Przewiezlikowski graduated with MSc. In Chemistry  from the Jagiellonian University, and finished postgraduate studies in management at the AGH Technical University in Krakow, in 1996. Mr. Przewiezlikowski also finished several business courses in Poland (including the course for members of Boards and Supervisory Board Members), France, Belgium and Germany. Mr. Przewiezlikowski?s professional experience consists of 13 years in the organic chemical industry (managerial role and technological supervision) at WZPG Stomil Wolbrom, including the position of Head of Export and International Relations. He also spent 4 years in the steel industry (ZGH Boleslaw), 8 years as President of the Board in the metallurgic industry - managing a factory employing over three thousand people at OFNE Emalia SA, and 6 years as Managing Director in the construction and geological company Hydrogeo in Krakow. Currently he runs a private consulting business.

Professor Adam Dubin - Board Member

ImageProfessor Adam Dubin is professor of biochemistry and the vice-dean at the Faculty of Biochemistry, Biophysics and Biotechnology at the Jagiellonian University. Professor Dubin is an editorial board member of Acta Biochimica Polonica, presidium member of the Committee of Biotechnology of the Polish Academy of Sciences, chairman of the interdisciplinary expert group for biotechnology at Polish Ministry of Science and High Education, presidium member of Polish Economy Chamber of Advanced Technology. He is an expert of enzymology and protein chemistry. Professor Dubin was a postdoctoral fellow at the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation(1980) and Visiting Professor at the Department of Biochemistry, University of Georgia, Athens (1986, 1990, and 1994). Furthermore, Professor Dubin is the founder of a biotech company BioCentrum Ltd.

Wojciech Chabasiewicz - Board Member

ImageMr Chabasiewicz graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration, Jagiellonian University and was entered on the list of Legal Counsels in 2005. Between 2005 and 2009 he was a Partner at the law firm Tomasik, Chabasiewicz & Partners LP. currently he is a partner at the Chabasiewicz, Kowalska and Partners LP. Since the very beginning of his professional career, Mr Chabasiewicz has been advising on the public and private stock and bond issues, mergers and acquisitions and restructuring transactions. He also deals with all types of investigations related to corporate conflicts. Additionally Mr Chabasiewicz specializes in company law, capital markets and securities, mergers and acquisitions, as well as in issues related to bankruptcy and restructuring.
