SEL73 has been invented as an atypical antipsychotic, and shows a high affinity towards serotonin 5-HT2a receptor, dopamine D2 receptor, has well as serotonin 5-HT7 receptor, and weak affinity towards serotonin 5-HT 1a receptor as measured in vitro.This compound can be further developed in the field of schizophrenia (with or without bipolar mania), but also psychotic episodes of dementia with Lewy bodies and other psychotic disorders. Its function via 5-HT2a and D2 receptors was visible in behavioral tests in animals where it performed better than Clozapine or Haloperidol. SEL73 is currently developed by Selvita and available for partnering. SEL92 programSEL92 is a novel, patented new chemical entity presenting hypotensive activity. SEL92 has been shown safe, not showing neither neurotoxicity or cardiotoxicity, when tested in vivo. It%nbsp;has a well-defined mechanism of action and good specificity as observed in functional ex-vivo and in vivo assays.SEL92 can be further developed in the field of hypertensive disorders including pregnancy-induced hypertension (pre-eclampsia), pulmonary hypertension as well as renovascular hypertension. SEL92 is currently developed by Selvita and available for partnering. |
