Selvita is a product and solution provider for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry from Krakow, Poland. We deliver comprehensive solutions to customers from the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry targeted at lowering the cost of introducing innovative compounds to the market. The areas of our activity include:   target-based solutions – advanced protein modelling solutions   drug discovery – custom in silico library construction   lead generation – optimization of lead compounds   contract synthesis and syntheses paths optimization   information technology for research projects Selvita develops its own innovative drugs, which originate from research at Polish universities and later out-licenses them to the customers from the pharmaceutical industry. Selvita is involved in the research projects up to the pre-clinical stage. Our current projects are in the area of oncology, central nervous system, infections and diagnostics. In future we will also be involved in projects in other therapeutic areas Selvita employs an experienced 30 person team of specialists with molecular biology, biotechnology, chemistry, pharmacy, and informatics degrees including 10 PhDs from leading international and Polish universities with good pharmaceutical industry background. Selvita is also the owner of BioCentrum, which provides preclinical ADMET services, biochemistry services with special focus on protein engineering and antibody development. We are also involved in Gencron jv. Gencron is a service offering covering the optimum match of genetically identified patient groups to oncology drugs, which are currently under clinical and pre-clinical development (so called drug targeting) but also drugs which failed to achieve the expected milestones during their development cycle (drug repositioning).
