7th Framework Program

Since the day it was founded, Selvita has been making an effort to participate in international research projects, mainly through the 7th Framework Program organized by European Union. Starting from  1st  January 2009, Selvita’s Bioinformatics Team participates in the implementation of the Peplaser project, which goal is to develop innovative technologies and equipment for the synthesis of peptides in a solid phase. This project will be a breakthrough for research in the field of proteomics in the same way as microarray DNA technology in the field of genomics. Currently Selvita has qualified personnel in the following areas: in silico drug design: identification of the biological target,  search for active ligands, identification and optimization of lead structures, structure prediction of proteins, analysis of sequential and structural databases chemical synthesis: combinatorial library design,  structural investigation (crystallography, spectroscopy), purity assay, removing contaminants resulting from the reaction side, designing of synthetic routes and their optimization, simulation of quantum -chemical properties (name and path of reaction mechanism, spectroscopic simulation of the spectrum) chemistry of proteins: sequencing of proteins and peptides, analysis of aminoacids  composition,  chromatographic analysis, electrophoretic analysis If you are interested in a joint application, please contact  This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
